it's that way in the west too.

salt lake, denver, phoenix. the entire state of texas. it ain't happening no matter what time of day it is.

and they keep talking about this shortage of truck drivers.

i had breakfast at mr t's this morning at 7 a.m. and got the only spot available. i guess truckers don't like making money.

Yep definately, I got a call from a reporter from the idaho statesman, apparently the senator he talked to over the split speed limit limit vote coming up in Idaho that he is in favor of so all vehicles in the state can do 75mph asked for any e mails he might have received in support of the vote and he gave him mine I sent him one as part of a call to action from ooida which I am a member of then he called me and interviewed me the interview will be in the idaho statesman on Thursday in the paper and online.

Altho I'd like to see split speeds go away, especiallu in OH and IN, don't think it will make much of a difference. Got way to many companies, limiting how fast their trucks can run PLUS, the gubberment wants to install speed limiters also. We just can't win sometimes

I explain to him that the equal speed would eliminate alot of the 10vote mile drags and how cutting the speed back on trucks really isn't all the fuel efficient. Progressive shifting at low rpm is a crock causing you to do more shifting. More shifting causes you to use more fuel.
