Snowy you only have to show one 15 min period weather its the post or pre trip its up to you the other all you have to do is just flag it. And the 30 min break within the first 8 hrs is in play.

Don't even have to flag both of them, least I never flag my post and have never got in trouble for it. And crap, the 30 minute break is already in play??? Thought it didn't start till later.

Oh yea, parked at the Pilot in syracuse. No parking available as I drove thru the 1st time. Made another swing and there was a skateboard, hauling a fuel truck pulling out. Tight spots. Tanker caught the mirror of the protable parking lot on the way out. Sorry the guys mirror got damaged but wasted no time in backing into this spot. lol

The flag I am referring to is the one where you simply move from on status to another like from driving to sleeper birth then going down below and drawing a single line stating pti but at least one either the pre or the post must show 15 min on duty not driving its your choice and the 30 min started in january I believe around the time the final hos rules came in to play but now its back in court. Might pm diesel bear for further info.

the 30 min starts tomorrow. if it already started then i'm totally screwed cuz i haven't been using it. but i'm pretty sure tomorrow is the start date. along with the 2 hour thing before or after your sleeper berth. however that rule was as i'm not familiar with that rule. the other stuff starts next july.

when i first started driving. had to flag both pti's. and i still flag em both. this csa thing has given cops a chip on there shoulder and we gots to really watch our arses

Are you talking about Teams??? Because now teams don't have to spend all the time in the sleeper berth ....they can now sit in the passenger seat for a while!

Found out tonight that Motor West is going E-LOGS :( Which really sucks because the Dispatchers can't even Dispatch drivers on Paper so how are they gonna manage on E-Logs "shakes head" will be happening in the next 60-90 days, happy we will be gone along with half the other drivers!
