it was another snowy one today around weed and shasta. had alot of twt trucks pass me like race cars. almost got plowed form behind by one also

 

Thats the problem tho, not many miles. Came off of reset on Monday and went from Omaha to KC and back.
Tue- they spent all day working on my trk. Finally was going to fix the headlite area, where I was backed into, however many months ago it was. Decided it was going to take to long to patch, so swapped hoods. Ooooops, seems that a 9400i is NOT quite the same as a 9200i. Finall got trk at 1700. Been up since 0700 at this point. Try to catch a nap (1.5 hrs or so), then its off on an overnight run to Holland, Mi. Deliever, out of time.
Phone call, loads only 75 miles away and no scales between you and it... will you get it?? Arrive there for a 1400 appt only to find out its not till 1630. (brokers...... bah!!!!) Have to listen to cb for docking assingment. Another couple of hrs of crappy sleep. Redo logs and hit the road at 2000. Made it to Walcott and shut down.
Get up and head to Grand Island. Pull into yard to fuel. D a m n antifreeze resevior has developed a pin prick hole. Have to switch trks and oh, BTW, stop at Lincoln on your way back and swap trailers at Cooks. Appt in GI not till 0030, get there at 2200, have to wait. 0200, unloaded and paperwork in hand. Head to tlr washout.

Anyhoo- have to be in Omaha nlt than 0700, make it at 0645. Total for the couple of days, around 2100 miles.... I think. Only thing saving all this, is the 1100+ miles I've put in the last 2 days.

Have 12 hrs left, pick up 7 tomorrow night, then only 3 after that. VA is NOT where I'd like to do a reset.

 

looks like the boss is buying 4 more trucks 3 are ex schnieder freightliner cascadias and 1 is an ex reliable freightliner classic with the big ole apartment sleeper. called me the other day and asked if i wanted the classic, hell yea i said got a shower toilet sink coffee maker dinner table in it and all the chrome on the out side. even gots 85 chicken lights on it plus 20 b ig red lights up the back of the cab. all we gotta do is get it up from orlando fl. and get a motor built since its gotta blown kitty cat in it. looks like 1 bad is gonna be rolling serious come this summer..

 

Heck, for the sleeper, I might even consider moving to...... where was??? BFE????

 

Were you headed North or South. I am heading up 97 tomorrow. Hope all that white stuff is east by then.

Am really beginning to hate Gwaltney in Portsmouth, VA. Last time I was here, took me 8 hrs, so far today, going on 4.

 

was head north to yreka first then back down south to redding. in redding right now its lookin cloudy but dry

 

had a nice little whiteout blizzard this morning on the southern corridor of 15 in utah. i was ALL over the road.
