The 325s would steer me away. Unless you are running the flats out west. That is a go fast gear ratio. In order to hit the proper rpm for best fuel economy you will be having to run around 70-71.
And with the 10 speed you cannot run it in a lower direct drive gear to make up for it.
If it was a 13 or 18 I would say you are ok. Run 64 or so in 12th and fuel will be good. But with the 10 that is not really an option.

On the turbo thing. Are you noticing it when accelerating, pulling a grade, or all the time?
If you notice mostly on grades or hard pulls you may have a stuck or bad dump valve. So it would be dumping some of your pressure.
Turbos can make noise before they go. But do not always. And failure can be slow or fast. It really depends on what part of it is going.
On the worst end of it you would start to have fuel puddling in the turbo, a TON of smoke, low power, and in a short time the fuel would ignite and truck would be much shorter in no time.

Its exhausting getting this truck ready :biggrin_2557: We haven't been to bed before midnight the last fews and up really early!!

But we did get a lot done Sirius is all hooked up, CB was hooked up but now toasted lucky it was a cheapo, Top bunk was made safe for us to store stuff, the reflective tape stuff is now on the back of the cab, my little basket is beside the bed for my hairbands (Cause im always losing them) The old info on the side of the truck has been removed and some of our stuff is now in there!

I think JJ's clothes tub will have to lightened up a LOT :biggrin_2559: Mine is fine to go, well it will be if I can make the lid stay on it.
