Congrats snowwy, I have hazmat for a year now and have not had load that required it. I just remember....placards all 4 sides, bills and emergency guide up front, follow the signs thru populated areas and be careful where you park.:biggrin_2556:

i've had the hazmat since i got my cdl. but like you said. never used it. only had one hazmat load and all it was was a 30 lb. container going from vigirina to micron in boise idaho. and that was when i first started trucking.

5 years ago when i renewed my license. was about the time the fingerprints came into play. i didn't renew that endorsement. and then, for some mysterious reason. every job i was looking at ALL WANTED THE DANG ENDORSEMENT. so two years ago did all the BS and put it back on. NOW, no one is asking for the endorsement. GO FIGURE.

next up will be thw twic card i guess.

tomorrow at 10 a.m. i'll be at the plant loading fuel for los angeles.

JJ got Hazmat when we were thinking of going with Landstar as they require it.

Have seen a few decent paying loads that required Hazmat on the boards.
