I have heard them on XM radio. You have to check with the walmart website.
Looks like they are hireing in several area's and mostly in the northeast.

I was talking to a couple walmart drivers at the DC I work out of about that. They are always hiring, but 75% of the people that apply are never accepted. You need at least 5 years experience, no accidents what so ever, even non-preventables can knock you out of getting hire

Ok Guys, the following walmart locations are hiring:

Alachua FL, Sealy TX, New Braunfels TX, Palestine TX, Smyrna DE, Pottsville PA, Tobyhanna PA, Raymond NH, Marcy NY.

I honestly thought Walmart would recruit by word of mouth from there drivers.

yeah, i looked at there websight and got what KH got. other then that there not a lot of details. it don't give you much infor to go on and is hard to navigate to find what you want.

i had an industrial accident that i get ALL the blame on. so i'm basically screwed for 3 more years before i have 10 years i don't have to use that company anymore. i've been driving for 9 now.

Yup it is 3 years OTR.
    No preventable in 3 years.
No major preventable with casualty's in your life.
No tickets in the past few years.
At least 250k miles OTR. With at least 50k in each of last 3 years.
No more than 1 unpreventable in last 3 years.

I have it all down accept for 1 preventable in past 3 years. Not major, just damage to my truck and was not DOT reportable. But it still counts.
So I am out of luck for another 2 years.

Thats what I like about KH, always on the ball.

I've got 1 ticket, 2 non preventables, but not enough time. Not sure I want to work for them tho. Had a g/f that works for them and they treat their store employees badly. Not sure bout the drivrs tho.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

The drivers are some of the best paid in the industry.
They get mileage pay and hourly pay. The hourly is for every hour from when you head out on your week to the day you go home. 24 hours a day, at least that is what I have been told.
They have various schedules. 4/4, 7/7, 5/2 etc. Not sure on all the options.
There average driver makes 70k+ per year. They do not quit, drivers stay till they retire.
Also must live within 50 miles of the DC you work out of.

Oh well, I'm screwed then. Don't know of any DC within 50 miles of OKC.

Gather they had a big shake up not to long ago and were giving drivers the choice of moving somewhere else or quitting. Theres a guy called Kentucky 24 that happened to.

God but I love Bonnie Raitt. That woman can REALLY sing. Their playing a song of hers on the Bluesville channel called "A Mighty Tight Woman" that is just totally awesome!!!!!
