    im in sparks still. i went to pick up today and i picked up at 3 pm. so i got and scale the load cause it weight 43690 so i scale and im 1200 over on my tandems so i slide them as far back as i can go being california legal that is since thats where im headed. and im still 34300 so i take it back to the shipper mind you this took two hours of messing with. i get there at 530 and they are locked up tight closed for the night. soo here i sit waiting till mornign to go and have them take off one measly pallet before i can head to cali

    The joys of trucking @ Ruger!! :biggrin_25511: We are back in our truck and back in the real world LOL finding decent paying loads.

    Still some decent paying loads around you just have to look a little harder atm hopefully things will pick up soon!


    In Princeton KY not sure if we will be able to head out today or just have the weekend of :biggrin_25521:

    got to shipper this morning to take off a pallet and they are closed on fridays!!!! so this kid had to break the seal and get in the trailer adn move 200 boxes of hidden valley ranch from the back of my trailer to the front. was not a happy camper thats for sure

    so how do you deliver a load with a broken seal?

    You replace the seal and make a note of why it had to be broken and put the new seal # on the BOL.

    exactly. i just so happened to get lucky and had a seal that is made for our rite aid deliveries when we are coming back empty so it worked out alright but that load was only 180 miles and to me it wasnt worth it. it took me two full days to get it picked up and delivered so it cost me money for that one. seriously considering a change to our flatbed division

    Have a 4 stopper on must have been feeling a little insane Friday or maybe it was just tired:yes2557: Hopefully we can get them all of tomorrow and dump our old Trailer and pick up our new one and then back to Freightshaker in Wichita who didn't fix the truck properly and now we have to take it back:biggrin_25516: they had better not take all day either!
