in florida taking a nap. after getting steamed out of the truck. from the a/c

unplugged the drain tube. we seem to be drying out now.

 

hangin at the house till mornin and ready to be back on the road

 

had two flats today made the port pay for them didnt cost me a dime.

 

picked up a military knife off the florida highway. cost me $280 bucks. wondering if 1bad can find the arsehole so i can reimbursed.

i'll say this about container haulers. yall can't park in a TS for nuttn. and his container was only 15 feet.

situck in dublin till around 10ish. at the loves. waiting to buy fuel.

 

I have recaps on my drives and on allot of my trailers. I have only had one drive go since I have been with heartland. You have to keep up with the pressures. But recaps done by a quality cap shop are as good as virgin tires. They get x-rayed and allot of other tests before they will cap them. So they know the casing is good, and as long as it is done properly a recap is almost the same thing as a virgin. Heck just as many virgins are busting up on the highways as recaps. It is all in a good pretrip.
But 1 flat on the road in 3 years is a pretty good track record. Plenty of flat trailer tires in drop lots. But I can air them up if they are not off the bead.

 

actually. i bought 8 recaps before the big blitz.

one grew a basketball in the sidewall. 3 sidewalls just blew. and one picked up a knife. that's 4 tires warrenteed. and one i had to pay for. leaving 3 out of hte original purchase.

recaps can't take the summer heat. and down souithwest. the heat will hit 125. and at night. only goes down to 105.

 

st george utah waiting for my next load. have a feeling ill be here awhile
