Well, load change.
They canceled that load because a load in buffalo was refused last night.
So instead of making the driver sit on it till Monday night they had him bring it to me.
So now I am home till Monday evening, delivering in Buffalo at 2300.
That will hurt my week bad. Loose a 900 mile load and take a 60 miler to take it's place.
But the other driver is not stuck on it, so hopefully they will hook me up the rest of the week.

Jess, on my way to MacClenny, Fl. Maybe. Meat plant got me out 3 hrs late and that is really killing me. Usually, there is plenty of time on a load but this one was planned tight to begin with. Guess we'll see, eh.
CD, hope it all works out for ya in the end. Think I'm confused tho. Your taking the same load back to Buffalo that was already refused? -
PH you delivering at Walmart????
KH -
Yea, driver tried to deliver it Friday night.
They told him it was not expected till Monday. I guess Customer service screwed it up.
Had that with 3 loads. -
KH, yeppers.
CD, kewl. Was trying to figure out why it was refused.
You've heard the saying "just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean their not out to get me"? Well thats how I feel now. Have sent 5 or 6 msg's to my company about not being sure I can make OT delievery. Finally got a phone call but not 1 thing on the QC. Makes 1 wonder. The Challenger Thanks this. -

I don't remember, I am home and it was on the qualcom.
Does not matter now anyway, since they took the load away so I could cover this garbage load.
Someone had to do it though, and I know if I was the other driver I would not have wanted to sit here for a weekend on it, when it was not his fault. -
on a ld like that does the driver get any layover pay with heartland? got to head out tomorrow morn to memphis tenn. for a mon 8am pu that puts me back in sav mon nite with 1200 miles when the rest of the fleet will be sitting on 500 to 600 so it should be a good week next week.

It does not happen very often. They are very good at finding a fix for it. Even if it does inconvenience other drivers. This way I loose most of a day, and so did he. But nobody lost more than a day.
Layover is rare. You can get it, but it is like pulling teeth. -
Kewl!!! Didn't have to set in Florida this time but a couple of ours. Came to Leesburg to pick up some coke products going to Denver. Glad this run isn't quite as tight as the last one.
I liked this last place. Was in and out of there in less than hr. Heck, I spent more time being lost than they did in loading me.
