    Wondered where you were!

Housing market still seems depressed and its still a buyers market.

If you go to the TWT side you would probably be close to home a lot. When I am on one of our California runs I see lots of them going up and down I-5.

I made it back from Texas and I am sitting in Blaine waiting for the transfer company to take my trailer into Canada. Can't wait to be done with that load since I am having trouble with reefer engine. Might get home tonight or first thing in the morning. I guess nothing has changed in Washington since it is raining.

yeah they stay pretty close to I-5 but surprisingly i saw two twt trucks in witchita falls, TX two days ago. that threw me off lol. running a reefer what hours do you usually run? i switched to flatbed from dry van so i could stick to a normal schedule and now i seem to be getting up at 2 am more than i did witha dry van :biggrin_25510:

and i dont mind running nights but i hate it with a flatbed cause i cant see what the load is doing or the tarps are doing so wouldnt mind it with a reefer since all i gotta make sure of is that the reefer is running correctly

I have been running mostly days lately. If I do one of our California runs there is some night work involved since we go to the Los Angeles flower market and it is way easier to do those markets at night. This trip I am on right now I went from Port Orchard WA to Boardman and Weston in OR to load frozen food for Buda TX. I ran during the day and run my full 11hrs of drive time. I was there early so I had enough time for a reset. I left Laredo Tuesday mid morning and got to Blaine WA after lunch today.

I love going to TX since they got some nice speed limits in most of the states you travel through. I like those 700+ mile days. On Wednesday I had 759mls, but that was running wide open all day. I don't get a fuel bonus, get paid hub miles and do my own routing. I only got about 5.7mpg on this trip, but I scaled at 77,500lbs with 120gal of fuel.
