Yes, he did not have a good day with that experience. I have not had a chance to talk to him in person, but got the story from the boss and the mechanic. I am not sure if the guy was off his meds or should be on some, but he should not be driving for sure until he is better. At least he asked for help before he did something crazy.

I have been lucky all winter with the weather. Seems like I have been always a day ahead of the snow or ice storm. Just got back from the yard. Pretripped truck and trailer and have all my stuff in the truck. I will head out later when rush hour is done. Three more pick ups tomorrow morning in Oregon and than of to Riverside CA for Sunday afternoon appointment. Better than the last CA trip where I had 19 drops the whole length of the state.

I have been spoiled lately with working about 7 to 10 days and than home a couple of days. Looks like I will be doing the CA run three weeks in a row. Crazy, I only get enough time of for a 34hr reset between trips.:biggrin_255:

Hmmmm, metal coils and reefers just don't mix well. Was using mty pallets to block and the spread the five coils out. Ended up having to slam the brakes on for a stupid light, and when I opened up the trailer to deleiver, the 3 mty pallets in front were nothing but kindling. Must have still been legal tho, since I didn't get pulled into any of the open scales I went by.

I have noticed a lot of shippers putting stuff in Vans and Reefers that should really be on a Flatbed ....trying to save the mighty dollar!
