By what you previously posted "invertor i have for my laptop and printer. won't work unless the truck is running. batteries are about toast. along with the turbo, and steer tires, and jake switch only works 2 positions". sounds like they should have gotten rid of it already.

 

so, my delivery said they would be there till 11 p.m.. so i stopped for dinner just outside seattle. not wanting to fight the traffic. got there at 9. and the gates were closed. WTF. operating hours are 8 - 5. but there's an after hours phone number. and got unloaded. not happy with the time stamp though. come over to pickup. hoping for a place to park. but this isn't one of there normal operations. this one is in a business plaza. NO PARKING on the street. guy told me to drive around the building and park on the side. so i gets around the building. WTF. semi's can't make that turn. i see a chip already in the wall and a post knocked over. now i'm stuck. tearing up more of the already torn up curb trying to drive in the dirt so i can back the heck up and get out of there.

AND this building is apparently a dock. where i have no place to tarp.

AND THEN, my load hasn't arrived yet. i could be here ALL DAY. on friday. and i think the company wants me to deliver in denver on monday. but i'm supposed to be in court for a traffic ticket as i gots a warrant for my arrest now. AND, i won't be home to deposit my PAYCHECK before 2 p.m. saturday.

yes folks. apparently companies still issues paychecks in this day and age.

 

And I thought I was having a bad week!

 

since i'm waiting. and waiting, and waiting. and mother nature wanted to have a chat. i came over to walmart. did the conversation thing. and some shopping. found a box of 4 little cup pans. various sizes. did a price check. $25. nah. i'll buy this 8 peice cookware for $24 instead. but then i found a 2 quart pan for $5. bought a gallon of water and a case of ramen.

tonight we're having RAMEN FOR DINNER BA BEEEEEE.

also found crackers. hard to find in salt lake for whatever reason.

 

Where are you at? If you close enough I might come buy and give you a hug since it sounds you could use one. I am at home right now and will head out for Oregon this afternoon. Also just kiddin on the hug. Since I am German and we don't hug.

 

oh yeah. gotta love walmarts with prejudiced against trucks parking lots.

on another not. my chain of custody ( don't know why it's called that) papers are home waiting for my pee and physical.

 

was told 1, it's now 2. and raining. and still waiting.

gonna be very upset if i get stuck with a heavy load. on friday at close.

and on one answers the phone so i can at least have my paycheck sitting by the clock outside.

 

Guess who has a new truck in his future?? Thats right kiddos...... me!!!! Company is buying Columbia gliders. Supposed to be 2014 bodies with 2003 Detroit 60's. Don't quote me on the year of the engine tho.
Something doesn't seem right about that tho. Seems that I read or heard somewhere, that the engines have to be the same age as the bodies. Anybody know for sure? Oh yea, and these are supposed to be condos even.
Snowwy, yours is not the only comapny that cuts checks. I usually have 15 or so when I finally get the chance to depsoit all of mine!!!

 

Yep that's why you buy Glider kits so you can put the things you want in them...still won't be Commiefornia legal but did you want to go to Commiefornia anyway?

 

you not getting a new truck, you getting a new cab and frame with an old illegale engine. but that's also new. as i highly doubt that millions were built waiting to be sold sometime in the next decade.

is that 2003 a used wrecking yard engine. or is it actually a 2013 engine built with 2003 specs?
