I hope everybody is okay with all the storms out there. I decided to go back on a more Northern route to hopefully miss all the excitement out there. Don't have time for delays since I have a boat to catch. I did figure out why everybody pleaded the fifth on what I was picking up since I got a load of eggs again. I helped the guy load them this morning. It probably would make the worlds biggest omelet if I turned my trailer over. I did the math and there are over 302,000 eggs in the box.

I am heavy and I am at 5.6mpg driving into a head wind all day. To top it all off I got a check engine light just before shutting down. I went and checked under the hood and the engine was still there so all is good.

 

everytime my check engine light comes on. engine is always there when i check. but when the light is queried. it tells me the turbo is going bye bye.

got the kenworth gps programmed. can't wait to see how this dude compares with my normal gps unit for my first cross country trip since florida last year.

 

You finally got a load of the west side lol??????? We are in Kentucky for now but not for long!

 

Have the truck booked for the rest of the week ....looks like I will be laying in the sleeper watching TV week will finish in TN on Saturday morning and since Monday is a Holiday I can catch up on washing and stuff!

 

i'm in grand island. having spaghetti and meatballs and feeling like a free man.

ain't never been past the rocky mountains before. we're chartering in new territory. and starting to feel a little overwhelmed.

 

in walcott. it's nap time.

then we'll do a jj and see what crhome we don't need.

 

Having flashbacks of sitting in places like Plainview, Tx, at a meat plant. This ones in Claxton, Ga tho and a chicken plant. My choice tho, to be here this early. Can get a 10 in place before running to Norcross.

 

Glad we don't do the reefer anymore meat plants suck!

hanging out in ky. load goes to some hick town off the new yawk state line. TUESDAY.

3 1/2 days to drive 650 miles. thinking about hanging out in indianapolis for the weekend.
