Going out tonight on another OTR. Shuttle trip to Boise. Take some groceries to our "domicile" drivers, hang out in Motel and bring some back haul back to PDX. Get to do that 2 times this week. The patch is so much nicer in the summer, unless fog, rain, or smoke......:biggrin_255:

Truck booked until Wednesday looking like an OK week and why go cross country when we can do pretty well on the low miles trips!

I see nothing has changed here. You guys are still picking at each other. I came back and have to figure out how to deal with reality after spending a week on a cruise ship.

We got a cruise log at the end and it put fuel mileage in a whole different perspective. Our cruise was 2040 NM and the fuel consumption is about 73,775gal per day. It was a 7 day cruise and the ship used about 516,000gal of fuel. That is about 250gal per nautical mile. :biggrin_25524: I guess it takes some power to make 82,305 tons do 25mph.

I don't have anything until Friday and I will be doing one of our Cali runs for the next 5 weeks.:smt022

Can you drive 55? Served on the USS Enterprise (Big E). Have no idea how much she cost to run, but I believe that her reactors could generate a ginourmouis amount of energy...clean enerbgy. Hydro is greeen, clean and renewable.
