So how did you enjoy your cruise @ Viking and no I wouldn't want that fuel bill at the end of the day, notice I said day not week lol.

Lol Snowwy and I always give each other ####tte he runs long haul we do short haul, we stay out south he runs west, he pulls a SD we pull a dry van we need to run in different area's to do well. Although im sure Snowwy would do better running around this area and staying of the West Coast.

Oh, believe me I would rather be working and making money. Than being at home and spending it, but I am really not looking forward to going to CA and back for the next 5 weeks.

The cruise was awesome. We had a blast and the weather was great as well. We went zip lining in Juneau at the old Treadwell gold mine and sea kayaking in Sitka. We had gotten a screaming deal from Holland America when we booked the cruise and had a room with balcony. That was so worth it just going into the Tracy Arm Fjord up to the glacier and being able to sit on the balcony versus fighting the crowd to get a spot to see something along the rail.

Now reality is catching up and I have to do stuff myself again.

did you know that on the east side. you can put in a full days drive and actually GET somewhere. where as on the west it takes you 2 days to drive the same distance.

there's also no freight out here. but there was no freight in the northeast either.

one of these YEARS i'm gonna find myself in the southeast where i can play awhile.

and i take ANY load that goes ANYWHER AND PAYS. unless it's tarp. then no thanks.

when i get home this weekend. i'm seriously thinking of leaving the tarps behind.

Don't get me wrong I do love the West coast, but the slow speed limits do hurt the bottom line. I wish I could run between Ashland OR and Deadhorse AK and I would not care about the speed limit so much.

Thought about booking a load into WA for a minute :biggrin_25526: it was paying ok but then thought about the slow speed limits and changed my mind (had an insane minute)
