I park at US Foods in the parking lot. I talked to a guy who drives for Youngmans in L.A. when I loaded there on Monday. Have you ever checked into them?

I guess there is always Love's on Port of Tacoma Rd., but that one fills up quickly.

that loves fills up so freakin fast... i stayed there one time but only cause it was an easy spot to get into.. I have tried to look into youngmans cause i would love to work for them but im pretty sure they require 2 years exp. but i love the petes they drive and the nice 48ft trailers

The Love's is terrible and really tight. Youngman's seems to pay very well or the guy is just tooting his horn. He said they don't get paid by miles. It goes by trip and stops.

Have you tried the Casino? You would take the Puyallup exit of I-5 South. You have the city center exit and then Portland Ave and the next one is the Puyallup exit. It will drop you down by the casino and they have a big parking lot right there. I always see trucks sitting in that lot.

This reefer business is tough you now. I carry 4 load locks and sometimes I have to use all four off them. :biggrin_2559: On the other hand one of our East cost guys had to tarp his load in the reefer trailer a while back too. He hit a low bridge and peeled the trailer roof back for a couple of feet.:biggrin_25524:

Good luck on that. I had a talk with my boss about some things and it did not go as I hoped for. I think time has come to just buy my own buggy and do it for myself. At least I reap the benefits of my effort.
