Nice dry heat there in AZ LOL.

Its been pretty humid out this way for the last few days Temps in the 80s.

 

Are you guys back at work or still vacationing? I got your pm and will follow up on that. Got to limp the buggy to the Pedro this morning with a bad air can on the trailer. Usually I would fix it myself, but I am feeling under appreciated and it is raining outside.

 

Back at work today, going to KS....good rate going out but pretty sure Im screwed coming back oh well, ya win some and you lose some lol.

 

YEP. i got a good load from kingman az to elko nv. had to bounce from phoenix to pick it up. and now i'm going home.

that good rate bit me.

kinda wanna be home for the weekend. kinda dont. and i really don't want to be camping for the 4th and 5th cuz everyone closing for 4 days. (mostly).

so i'll head home, get the quarterly inspection and see about fixing the dang oil leak. look for a load on wednesday that goes east hopefully. and leave after the 4th.

all i need now is some hours to go home. cuz i've got 30 minutes left on my 9 hours recap. nothing left of the 70.

 

We hope to get a load back East tomorrow but getting a load from Oberlin is going to suck, thought the Broker said Overland not Oberlin

 

Well I got home this afternoon and get to leave again tomorrow after lunch. I get to take the other Cali run next week since that driver is on vacation too. At least it is a change of scenery and pace. That run usually has about 20 stops and goes from Sacramento to San Diego.

I got to hang out with my daughter this evening too. We had dinner at Applebee's and did my shopping for next week. She finally got a chance to look at the truck and she had her first driving lesson around the company property. She is a natural.

 

had dinner with my daughter and grand daughter in vegas 2 days ago.

i told her she's flipping crazy to be living in that heat.

 

Picking up in KEARNEY NE heading to KY for Monday. it was 110 degrees in KS yesterday #### hot.

 

glad i got my a/c working. even the bunk works. twas a nice and cool 60 inside the cab while phoenix was cooking.

on another note. gots a load to pick up on wednesday. come back home for the 4th. and will leave friday for DETROIT MI.
