I delivered some aluminum once to Detroit a few months back... I was glad to be able to saw Detroit and saw Michigan butthats about it... iwas happy to get out of there

 

not looking forward to closing my axles just for that one state.

 

I am sitting in Carlsbad CA tonight. They switched me to the other CA run this week. Left Friday afternoon and finished drop 18 this evening and I have one more to go in the morning. Than I will head down to Otay Mesa for a washout and reload back to Costco in Sumner.
It is always interesting driving around down town L.A. I had 6 drops in downtown L.A. and two in the burbs. Got a phone call about 9:00pm from the drop in Riverside on the other CA run and they were asking where I am at since it was now 4hrs past the appointment time. I guess the other guy is a bit behind .

 

Have you tried the BBQ joint in sumner? We used to deliver to GSF and pick up a load just down the road going back to Boise for Shop-ko

 

No I have not tried that bbq place. Isn't it called the Warthog bbq or something like that?

 

sitting at sapp bros. 5-6 hours for a dot.

if kenworth wasn't such a rip off i'd drop there and taxi home.

 

Couldn't you do your own dot inspection? I am assuming the annual or are choosing not to for liability reasons? How is it going there at Sammons?
