we have to do it quarterly. and no it has to be a shop.

and this month didn't work out at all. gonna have to STOP doing sammon loads. that deadhead is killing my revenue.

i did better last month with the cheaper shorter haul loads that I booked then this month hauling THERE loads. i LOST money this past fiscal month. if i didn't have to pay for a wrecker that COULDN'T fix my load. and a coolant hose breakdown. i would have broke even.

mostly becuase of the deadhead.

trying to figure out how my wallet saw more money but the truck didn't.

 

Been a pretty lean month for us with the time we had to take off But on a side note JJ is eating healthy and doing reallllllllly well.

 

I've had the best month I think I've ever had out here and its about to kill me, I think. 13300 miles for the month. I'd be more happy with like 11500 a month but what the heck. lol Just don't let me do that all the time!!!!

Glad that JJ is doing better.

 

Sounds like the months we used to have running for Motor West....Don't miss that at all!

@ Snowwy Thanks for the explanation on the inspection and sorry to hear about your month. Hopefully you get it dialed in there soon not to be depending on Sammons load board.

I got home yesterday afternoon and dropped truck and trailer in the yard got a 6:00am tomorrow morning to get rid of 42,000lbs of chocolate. Hope the reefer doesn't shut off since it is still pretty warm up here. Looks like all the vacationers are back and no more CA for me. I actually get the weekend of and they said they will look for a load for Monday or Tuesday. I hate working 7 days a week for the last month and only getting about 2600mls per week. This last trip was a little better.

Probably bring the tractor home and bomb it. I found some odor bombs like detail shops use and hope to get it smelling good again. Saw the white one yesterday in the yard too and it has some new fighting marks on hood and bumper. I wanted to write a comment on the banged up corner after he has been an ####### and talking about me behind my back.

i don't depend on sammons loads. they just call up before i even get delivered with current load. and get a chance to look for my own loads.

providing customer service in an effort to make as many friends as possible in the broker business. defenitely comes with a price.

 

Aww are you working over the 4th????? Its always a good idea to provide good service that way the Broker remembers you and may just call you with a very good load....Its been weeks since I have had to search for a load, that will change soon but hopefully not in a huge way!
