Why is it, that independent truck stops, can give free wifi..... that works, and the "chain" stops make you pay for something that is totally worthless?? Enquiring minds want to know???

Chains are big Corporations and they are just GREEDY food is overpriced and ordinary, showers in most places suck and are none to clean and even the TA's are going to fast food at a very inflated price.

Did they figure out what was wrong with it or are they just throwing parts at it?

cummins has never steered me wrong. they seem to always find the problem the first time and fix it the first time.

    egr pressure sensor.

had my nap. now i'm ready to roll. but can't. guz the gov won't let me. so here i sit, wide awake. and by the time i'm allowed to roll. i'll be ready for bed again.

That is good to hear. I read an article today and the guy was talking about all the different sensors on the EGR system and how they can mess up things. That made me wonder about your troubles. Good to hear it wasn't the most expensive part and they seem to know what they are doing.

I have another day off and will head out tomorrow evening. I got a pick up in Kent WA and a drop in Riverside CA. I don't know what to do with a load like that. I am sure I will end up with a produce load coming back and will get my share of waiting around.
