sitting here. waiting for the boss to let me drive. there's a yard across the street. bellies are pulling out. and i'll be darned if they aren't going down that same trail i tried to go down last night.

didn't see any pits on that trail. only a couple of houses.

 

My shiny new beautiful truck, doesn't look as good now. Hit a stinking deer, and it did significant damage. Will need to be towed in the am.

Dang!!!!! I sure miss my cornbinder about now. Same hit with that as this one, and the binder just shrugged it off. Plastic!!!!! Bahhhhhh

Snowwy if in doubt stick to the Interstate, We took another road when they shut the road down in WV and it was a nightmare never again.

We are all home sick with the Stomach Flu, Which JJ's Dad so kindly gave us

 

i cut roads all the time. that's the first time i took one that went to craps. it's also the first one that says trucks are ok. when they really AREN'T.

that snow storm socked me for 200 miles detour around the storm. only had 140 miles to go. and that remaining 140 miles turned into 340 miles.

i shoulda listened to my gut instinct and taken the other route instead of the one i took.

 

4 inches on the road and i was still 40 miles to actually hitting the mountain passes.

 

new truckstop. has the the usual conveniences. plus grocery and apparel shopping. nice fast food takeout. and what looks like a kitchen soon to be opening.

only thing missing. was milk for my cereal.

 

My life would be hollow and empty without Lucky Charms

 

JJ is into the lucky Charms atm I will stick with my Bacon.

 

20 degrees last night. 2 inches over night. 5 degrees this morning. BBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
