Well, after being off the OTR circuit for over a year and a half .... I am back. Tried 2 local gigs (JBH Intermodal and UNFI foods), but disappointed. Same long hours with a lot more hassle and not as much money. Signed on with family owned, small outfit out of Spokane. Still want out of the truck. Was presented with possible opportunity to be a "sub-broker" in the Seattle-Portland market. We shall see. At this point at one month, I remain cautious. Cannot shake those "show-me" roots.
Condolences to those who have lost loved ones, buried Dad in December. Lost Uncle Paul in June. Both WWII vets. Down to a couple of aunts and uncles. Now losing friends and classmates....hmmm.

Pan......tween gators, queens, and snow angels I sense the next Discovery Channel hit.......Most Dangerous Drives. (lol)

well, after being off the OTR circuit over the weekend. :biggrin_25519:

guess it's time to leave the house and make the journey to grab my truck.

can't wait to get back to local. and actually sleep untill it's time to go to work without the darn journey.

Stuck at preferred freezer in Jersey City. Thought the FDA had lifted their hold on this load of frozen rabbits, but come to find out, it was a different load. By the time that things were all figured out.... well.... here's where I'm going to spend the night. At least it's in a secured placed but man.... I feel like I've really been bent over good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't you just love that part of being an o/o? That is why I like being a company driver but I still want and will someday have my own truck.
