there's nothing gps apps related. i can reboot the phone and nothing will work. the little icon that lights up in the notification bar showing gps is working. DON'T light up. at first i thought it was the broadcom chip. but my sprint phone that gets turned off when not used. can turn back on and immediately starts functioning.

my asus tablet has the same chip. it works. my acer tablet, also has the same chip. it barely worked. and completely died after a week. my aunt also has the acer tablet. never worked.

my verizon note is turning into a pos just like the verizon droid bionic before.

one company makes the hardware. one company makes the operating system. but it's the carriers that build the operating system to their specs with their own drivers for the hardware. and we all know how greedy verizon is with money. they prefer useing THEIR apps so they can charge.

it's a conspiracy. and i'm complaining to the president. :biggrin_25525:

    Wake up JJ, you lurker.

Well, I have gone 5 weeks now running local. Not too bad I have to say, but will take me time to get into shape.
As of now I am aching every night, but I will loose the extra weight that the dryvan put on me with time. And will be better for it in the end. Plus I have quit smoking, so might even live a little longer, that is a big might.

Hauling furniture in Florida and some of southern Georgia. Home most nights, just one night out every week or so, and they pay you extra for doing it, and pay for the hotel room. Pay is milage and unload paid by the cubic foot of freight. All home goods, furniture, appliances etc.
Net is around 800-900 a week, and the benefits are very good. Not OTR pay, but heck, I am home every day, it is worth the pay cut.

I did have to buy a car and get rid of my explorer to save on gas. But I look really good in a Mini Cooper S Convertible. So it is worth it lol.

Got all my tax junk done, which makes me very happy. Sure didn't realize, that I had taken so many days off last year. 72 days off and still managed to do 139,000 miles.

Now..... if only my brother could get it all together, so that we can get to Chicago, pick this drill rig up, and let me get back to the business of making money!!
