Don't you just love that part of the rule? If you are on electronic logs and get in at 12:01 am on a Saturday morning and want to go back out you can't because the know it all's in Washington says that I have not had a good safe amount of rest. I am glad I have someone to tell me when I am safe to drive. What will they come up with next? Don't answer that I really don't want to know.

 

Had to fire my dispatcher this morning. 3 times now, he's promised to try and get me a load to Tahiti. 3 times now, he's failed. Strike 3 and your out of there!

 

60 hours of hometime. BOO YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

 

Geeze, seems my brother just couldn't wait to get that rig to Oklahoma. Got a driveaway company to deliver the truck and trailer but, they couldn't haul the drill rig, that had to be shipped seperately. Insurance I'm sure. Anyway, total is going to be @5 grand. On top of that, the straight truck is a 21 speed. Thats gonna be a fun one to teach. lol

Ya know, I don't normally complain about the trashcans in showers not being dumped each time, however, if a woman has used the shower that day AND, she is on her period............ picking up what I'm laying down???

according to facebook. and teh local news. we had an earthquake. 3.2 magnitude.

i didn't feel a thing.

 

We had a earthquake a couple years ago and I was asleep and the wife woke me up then it hit again it was kind of weird as I have never been in one before. The house was shaking for a few seconds and then it quit I did not know what was going on until I woke up that evening to go to work.

he's trying to figure out rates after being out of the game 3 years. says rates have skyrocketed. yet, o/o's are complaining about rock bottom rates.

guess i shoulda went to my second drop tonight instead of my first drop. done the extra 70 miles tonight instead of tomorrow. now i really gotta bust my hump to get reloaded.

for some reason i was thinking second drop only 40 miles to the north. instead it's 110 miles to the west. i HATE twin falls and idaho falls. always get em mixed up.

 

The people that complain about cheap rates are the ones that are getting over paid. That is why they never build a customer base that is willing to pay. They don't offer anything worth paying for.
