Tuesday was kinda dead. Seems like a day to day thing unlike in years past. I did get a call from somebody I think you sent my way, thanks. But nothing came of it. Went home that afternoon. What a difference a day plus a good night's sleep in my own bed made.

You really ought to re-think changing that setting back. I go fishing for loads sometimes by just clicking on them. Have really hammered some desperados on rates when they unwittingly called me up because of it lol. Sometimes not even having the truck posted. To be sure many of them calling after that are fishing for suckers but I get enough hits that way to make it worth while.

Posted the truck on ITS (Internet Truck stop) as Chris says you get a lot of bottom feeder calls with a low quote but the ball is in your court because they are calling you.

Later in the day after a broker has refreshed the posting 10 times and and slowly raised the rate because its 1400 and that load has to be picked up by 1600 the ball is definitely in your court.

It's no wonder you complain a lot about low rates. None of us been complaining about low rates for quiet some time. Not the rates we're accepting we're not. Everyone hears the lowball offers all the time. That's standard operating procedure for the brokers. You're calling on loads you like. No surprises then all you're ever seeing and hearing is cheap, cheap, cheap.

Rates shouldn't effect you anymore, since you get paid the same rate per mile.

Rates were better this week then they were last week, Last week was slow in my area this week seemed to be a lot better.

With Sammons do you get to negotiate a price or is it basically a certain price per mile on certain type freight and a different price for other freight?
