Jess and I will be spending our thanksgiving in lovely Ripon Ca (NOT!!!) :biggrin_25521:at the J. However MotorWest will pick up our thanks giving Meal tab, all we have to do is turn in the reciept with our trip. Isn't that mighty nice of them. I will atleast be getting in a much needed 34hr reset and some much needed sleep. JJ.

Well guys I got at Walmart working in the Toy Department. I make the same as truck driving in a 40hr week except I have a bed to sleep in at night. Saw a 379X that JJ would have drooled over:

Burgundy in color, had those sleeper vents on the hood chromed out, rear side toolbox on lh side, tripac apu on right side, utility trailer with spread axle trailer that go to tandem if necessary, aluminum sides, alcoa durabright wheels, 24.5 tires, carrier reefer unit chromed out. Delivered christmas trees.

    Today sucked.
I delivered a load in Buffalo this morning, and dispatch said to head on home.
I got 10 miles from the house and he calls me and says he needs my empty dropped at a shipper in Buffalo, so I have to head 50 miles back up the road.
This is after driving all night to make delivery on time.
So I head back to Buffalo, and my 14 almost up when I drop.
Now I have to go 25 miles to grab another empty. Another pain, 10 miles of lights. All timed so you get stopped at every one.

So now I once again have an empty, but I am in Buffalo and out of hours.
So since I delivered at 0600, and I went right past that location 2 times, I redid log to show that I was on break, and off duty driving.
I am sure logs will love that one.
Had to finish that break in Buffalo, so instead of being home at 0900 I was not home till 1830.
I am home till Sunday though. So a nice little break.
Calling for lake effect Friday into Saturday. First storm of the season, calling for up to a foot.

    Happy thanksgiving everyone.
We are looking at possibly our first lake effect snow of the year off Erie tomorrow into Saturday.
They are calling for a foot or so if it cranks up. Late start. Normally the ski resorts are all open by now.
