JJ's Place

Lol yeppers I am. I miss being in the truck sometimes but when JJ mentions feels like 105 degrees I cringe and camping out at the shippers gate so he is first in line, I think to myself I'm glad I'm home.

 

Hope everyone has a good 4th. We have thunderstorms and flash flood warnings in our area until 11:15 tonight.

Was supposed to take the little ones to the fireworks festival but decided not to. Just that one of the rugrats is a "Miss Greater Franklin County Pre-Teen" winner and she was supposed to be there with all the other queens and no body is going so we will do it the rain date. Oh well be safe.

 

The gardening thing we used to do but since we found that we can buy the stuff that we generally eat out of the garden from a family who does gardening for a living a whole lot cheaper than we can do the garden.

 

Well snap!!!! Even the masterful logger that I am, can screw up sometimes. Our log lady was so overjoyed, that she was practically, jumping with joy as she came out the door to get me. Meh..... I'll give it to her since she might only catch me 2 or 3 times a year. lol Dang, told her she could consider it an early xmas present but.... she has a birthday before then. *sighs* what am I going to do for a xmas present now???

 

You'll think of something.

 

Happy 4th July everyone! We had our own little fire works display here and grilled a few burgers ( Miss YA JJ ) but I made do and made my BFF's Hubby do the grilling and the fire works lighting lol.

 

got the progressive lens's today. NOT liking them.

probably going to call on monday for the bifocals.

 

Hope nobody got in trouble over the holidays and if you did then you had fun.

 

I wish I had gotten on here earlier. Or I could have found a place for JJ to hang out for the 4th in LA. Plenty of family that will take on strays and treat them like family on holidays.

 

He hung out at the motel resting lol...He worked today and has tomorrow off and back to the grind on Monday.

Looks like he will be down there a few more weeks.
