Bloody A/C went out in the truck yesterday so JJ will be running with no A/C tomorrow When he finishes his second load tomorrow he will deadhead to Shreveport to the Freightliner shop and have it replaced once again.

 

Hope it is under warranty since it was just replaced not to long ago. I know how it is with out an a/c.

 

He is in Shreveport now but when Freightliner shut tonight they hadn't even looked at the truck. I really didn't expect any better from a freightliner shop!

 

JJ is still in Shreveport LA and still waiting on the stupid Lonestar truck repair to get the parts they need I called them today @ 1300 and asked was the truck ready and was put on hold for 15 minutes and then finally told the part didn't come in from Memphis. They hadn't bothered letting JJ know the part didn't come in until 1500.

If you have a dog I wouldn't advise going to Lonestar truck repair in Shreveport LA as they don't have anywhere you can wait with a Pet.

you beached and moaned on the phone to ME. today. then you replaced me with LONESTAR.



took the day off today. in beautiful rainy wyoming. thinking i'll be empty and back home in time for supper tomorrow. hopefully.

Stupid new HOS rules. Could be doing something productive, like getting a reset but, just reset. Gotta sit a day, before I can start running a.recap.

 

Thought I read something about the 34hr reset the other day will have to have another look.

 

There was an amendment, added to the hiway bill (I think), that would reset the HOS back to the way they were, till the FMSCA, did a real and honest study of the impact. Then...... the Tracy Morgan thing happened. Not sure where it's at now.
