Helped my New Jersey neighbors move yesterday and it sucked outside.

ATTENTION ATTENTION: we interrupt your moment to bring you this breaking news flash.
3 cars are dead today, in an apparent collision with a semi's trailer. the driver of the semi, also died.
the semi, a salt lake native of 36 years. tried to negotiate an apparently unfamiliar exit off the 201. the semi was traveling eastbound. and was unaware of the unfamiliar newly designed TEMPORARY exit leading from the 201 to 5600 west.which is under construction. the exit. is coned, and comprises of a 90 degree turn to the right and immediately to the left. speed through the cones is designated at 15 mph.
the semi, hit his brakes hard, locking up all the tires. the 3 cars that were trailing the semi. slammed full speed into the semi's trailer. killing all 3 cars on impact. the semi, rolled over, as he was going to fast into the turns. also dieing on impact.
the cargo, which happened to be 2 round coils weighing 25,000 pounds each. broke free from the trailer. and went rolling down the highway. luckily, they hit concrete barriers that were in the path. no one else was injured.

getting really tired of the stupid things UDOT does these days.

the ignorant intersections they've put on bangerter highway, and in west valley city. and lately, the construction.

starting to think the mexicans are running the show these days. since those intersections came from mexico.

 

load of coils might get rejected. because i arrived at 630 to untarp and unchain. and some bossy P didn't get here till 730.

30 miles to the north. we untarp and unchain. put everything away. roll up to door and honk horn. door opens, we pull in. unload.

not this place. all doors open. empoyees working. everybody sees me untarping. but they aren't the boss.

 

Different places have different rules.

Hopefully JJ will be home for his Birthday, it would really suck for him to be still in LA.

 

I roll into the yard, I roll out of the yard. Heading back to PA again but, after this delivery, will be getting a reset at my sisters. Looking forward to it.

 

doing my usual daytime screwing around. with loads. just so i can drive all night.
