i want it to work 8 hours a day DURING the day 258 days a year.

i don't want no 3 hours one day and 16 hours the next dat. 20 hours one week and 80 hours the next week. and i want to be sleeping at NIGHT.

i want bankers hours #### it. i've had my cdl 9 years now. i deserve R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

*sighs* You try to do everything right and still I end up freaking stuck!!!! Gotta love NJ in a blizzard.

 

I am stuck on the PA turnpike, nothing is moving in New york, Jersey
there is about a foot of snow on the ground, seen too many wrecks and decided it was time to goof off, I mean shut down.

Anyway I have chilli cooking in the crockpot, I made pancakes for breakfast

 

Dang, I need to be on the PA tp. Some chili sure does sound good about now!!!

Ya know, it just totally baffles me, on how something can be lost in these small places we call home. I bought a fold up entrenching tool, just for the winter. When I needed it, could I find it? Not no but H E L L no!!!!! Finally, after @3.5 hrs, my very wet gloves, and a sledge hammer, I am FREE!!!!! Now I just have to wait till they get me a door (missed the 1st one due to being STUCK), then its off to Boston, which is shut down, then Maine. Sure not going to make much on this trip.

I finally made it to my first stop in NJ, only 9 hours late. They were just happy I got there as I was only one of a handfull of trucks that did, they are being nice and letting me stay on the property tonight, not much point in risking my life to get to the petro in boardertown, besides there is a no driving order, or risk arrest. I like my job, but don't need to go to a jersey jail.

You will find your shovel when you least expect it, when you are in Amarillo and it's 110 in the shade, you will find your shovel. Your suncreen, now that's a different story.

 

I delivered in Pittsburgh this morning, now I am sitting at the Airport waiting to grab an air freight load.
They were trying to get me to my parents house in MD, but no loads going that way from here.
So now I am taking a load to King sport TN, then supposed to be on a load to Baltimore. Not many miles this week. Since I wanted to be at my parents for new years. But it is ok. I got Christmas at home and I will have 2 days with family in MD. All with no vacation time or having to turn in the truck.

 

I wonder, are there any comapnies out there, that supply you with spare parts and actually expect you to use them? Have a brake light out on the tlr and lost a head lite to boot. Am in NH and they want me to hit the TA in CT. Sure hope I don't get pulled over when I hit the road tomorrow.
