New 4g droid coming out in April or May.

 

found my owners manual. 194 pages. LOL. you can go to sprint.com and download the manual for EVO. or other droid phone. least you'll have some idea on how to operate the operating system. if you can't find a downloadable manual from verizon.

I've been waiting for it for too long. iOS4 has the software to run on a CDMA network, it was only a matter of time. I love my iphone but can't take the AT&T network anymore!

 

My wife got a droid today.
She decided that for what she will use it for it has everything she needs anyway.
I could not get a free one with hers. They would have given it, but not to replace mine. I would have had to add a 3rd line. Which was not worth it.
So I got a wireless hotspot card to use on the road. It was free. Will connect 5 items if you want. And it is only 35 a month for 3 gigs. I can change at any time to 5 gigs for 50 bucks if I need too.
Also overage is 10 bucks a gig. So no massive overage charges anymore.
Got it all set up and works well.

They also said that when the 4g version comes out they have already let the sales staff know that we can trade the 3g for the 4g version. I would just have to pay the 5 gig rate then. So that may happen later in the year.

 

but, but, but. it's only 3G.

Went and saw Tron Leagacy yesterday. They stayed pretty faithful to the original and I liked it.

 

I watched the A-team today. Good movie.
My wife talked about going to a movie this weekend. But I have a feeling I will not convince her to go see that.
I have not seen the original since it first came out. I cannot remember it at all.

Home for the weekend. I have been spending so much time reading books on my kindle while on the road that I have not been online much while out. I should have gotten the sony version though. Almost impossible to get free books for the kindle. Very easy with any other version.

At this point the Farmville style games require Adobe Flash and due to the room they need to run most phones will not be able to run them. Once the droid updates to 2.2 and you update flash to 10.1 you may be able to run them with the browser.

 

Talked to Radio Shack guy and he said the iPhone 5 will be coming out very soon and he's expecting a new iPhone or update every 6 months for the next couple years. They are trying to keep up with Droid but failing due to the prepriotory software that few want to work with. I hope Droid surpasses iPhone then maybe the iPhone will get less expensive.
