I was told to get as many job offers as possible before you finish driver training. Now I have several companies calling me to schedule orientation for next week. Being that I contacted several companies, does it reflect poorly on me when I turn them down?

I pre-qualified for several companies. Roehl said they expected me to look at other companies, to make sure I would be content if I chose them.
No company wants you leaving three weeks after they spent all the time and money to train you.

But "as many as possible" might be a little overkill.
Get pre-hires from some good companies, and one or two from "fall-back" companies, if you have questionable driving or work history.

I applied to a total of 4 companies. 3 that I wanted to work for, and one fall back that would be just for a year of experience. I'd say it's a pretty normal thing. Just let em know you are looking into all your options and you will make a decision after a few days or so. That's what I did just about a week ago, and I have an orientation date this monday.

Recruiters will do their best to get you on board. This includes scheduling you for orientation. When you have made your decision, just notify the others you won't be coming. It does not reflect badly on you. Even if you call them the day you're suppose to be there. Recruiters see this every day.
