Have you tried local route sales work, like delivering beer, soda, foodservice? You can be home every night. But you could be in for an uphill battle considering your circumstance any wa y you go. Do wish you the best of luck

You will have to know too how the charge is being reported that you were convicted of. In some cases even a charge of dishonesty or misuse of trust may way a whole lot in the hiring process.

There are possibly some of the companies who might hire you like CR England; you will have to put in 6-9 mo with them to pay for the schooling; that is if you can clear the criminal charge. Then you will have to be able to go most all of the 48 states. I don't know if they would have any company dedicated routes or not; they really like l/o.

Possibly try someplace like a janitorial supply company for a local route, here in our area it is Newel Paper Co.., son in -law did work here for a time after a wreck at Swift while in training.

Now days there is no fast way to get into the companies, they all mostly want recent experience and being off the road that long does not help. First though you need to find out how the charge is worded, and if you can leave the state, you don't want to be blind-sided and go to an orientation to only be kicked out. Check with the unemployment office and see if there is any training for trucking that they have hooked up to in the area. I believe CR England gets money from the government for training students, esp if it is someone who has been unemployed..

This is dumb advice listen you have no experience in the trucking field anymore. Point blank people are right about the dock thing and work your way up. Another solution would be to apply at Walmart it pay2 dollars an hour less than can does and dont tell me no it doesn't cause I have plenty of friends that can they don't make #### if u were a rn it would be different

In the field of health care I can't see any excuse for any short-cuts....you got yourself into a bad spot on your own(your words). You may have a very hard time getting hired by a reputable company with decent pay and benefits. But keep putting yourself in front of perspective employers you may get lucky. Show a willingness to start at the bottom by working on the dock at a freight company as someone else suggested...Good luck.
