    • IMMEDIATE DETENTION PAY
    • INCLEMENT WEATHER PAY
    • MILEAGE, SAFETY & REFERRAL BONUSES
    • BREAKDOWN & EXTRA STOP PAY
    • MULTIPLE BONUS OPPORTUNITIES
    One company I worked for also paid for:
    Fueling the truck.
    Pre-trip the truck.
    Post-trip the truck.
    $12.00 a day to help with meals.
    Hotel room for 34 hour reset.

    You would need to get 2,500 miles per week to see $1,100.00 gross at .44 cpm( before deductions) . If you cannot average 2,500 miles per week minimum as a Regional OTR/OTR driver receiving mileage pay - then take a pass

    I say do it......you need a check and you need experience. Swift is as good as any place to get a trucking career started. Don't worry about what the recruiter or anyone else says. In trucking, you control your own destiny, meaning your paycheck will be contingent on what you put into trucking. If you have reliability and availability, you'll make good money.

    I did and the recruiter said they weren't hiring in my area which is strange because their promotional materials say they are.
