You know I have nothing against San Diego other then the people out here cannot drive to save their life. Especially on I-5. Idk how many times I have been driving and come up on a back up and sit in traffic for any given amount of time just to come up to the initial point of back up to be one lowsy exit. Who would have thought that one exit would back up an entire 4 lane interstate when there's no accident or cop with someone pulled. God forbid they know how to do the speed limit out here. The sign says 65 but everyone and their brother is doing 50. The one good thing I do love about out here is lane splitting on motorcycles. When I hit traffic I just go right in between them. Other than the traffic and rude people yes it's nice. Idk they may just be rude cause I'm a marine and the ones before me have given us a bad name. Sorry rants over lol

 

Back to what I was going to say lol. I just looked and the dedicated they have for Goodyear says experienced drivers eligible. Is that something that I could still get onto or do I need to run that one by the recruiter.

 

Yeah I'll have to talk to her cause this is what I went off of. http://schneiderjobs.com/search-driving-opportunities/details/1400000030/ As far as the tuition reimbursement goes I'm not worried about it cause I used my GI bill to cover the school cause I couldn't get tuition assistance cause the government is broke. But one thing I am interested in though is the whole apprenticeship program though. I have seen mixed reviews on here though but I called the VA and got told that the first 6 months I get 75% of the entitlements then the last 6 months it drops to 55%. I would like to talk to someone on the Schneider side of it all to see how they try to sell it but the lady my recruiter transferred me to was out of the office and hasn't called me back yet.

 

That is true. Do you know anything about the international paper dedicated? I bet those are some heavy loads.

 

My recruiter is Jamie Nesbit. Maybe it'll help that she is the regional recruiting manager. Something else I just thought of, is Obetz considered the Columbus OC? I ask just so I know for the positions so it'll help with finding a place to live so I know the commute for me.

 

Being on the dedicated a count, how much does that play into you HOS? I saw in a post before that you would only work a 7 hour day. So with that could you essentially run 7 days a week if you wanted?
