USX is a team and dedicated oriented company, if your a solo driver on the solo board, you are the bottom of the list. Been that way along time.

The good and bad about getting my truck with US EXPRESS is it does 72 MPH but its a freight century. So far they are running me hard left yesterday with first load and by the time I had hit the road I had 2 preloads. I said to my self don't get all excited and see if its still there by the time I deliver this load and sure enough it was. 1400 miles in 3 days it so far so its good for now
wulfman75 and The Challenger Thank this. -
So do they auto's with a clutch pedal or are they the ultrashift?
-
Most are the ultrashift but a few still have the clutch pedal.....at least they did back in 06. LOL.
wulfman75 Thanks this. -
So far since weds night when I recieved my truck I as of now I have 2500 miles allready and sitting on a load tonight as well. I allready worked for a small personable company with WSE and although they were a small family type company it didnt pay the bills. so far this forst week with US Xpress I have more miles then WSE could ever get me . so Honestly I dont mind being a number to US Xpress as long as they show me a number back (miles) haha plus alomst every load is a drop and hook. I pretty much have been running my clock out every night. I am liking it so far

When are u gonna get home.

Mike, are you a company driver? I ask because I'm company and my truck is governed at 72, but that's only because it was a lease truck before I got it and they never changed it.
If you are a company driver you might want to watch your speed. They can tell how fast you go if they want to look at the information from your SatCom. I was also told to be careful passing another company driver because there are some that will tell on you.
I just set my cruise for 65 and drive that.mikersv1 Thanks this. -
as far as how it is going so far. its going great the only issue I had was with payroll and per diem but that is fixed and no longer on it. It does seem as US Xpress benefits from this tax break. I never heard of a company paying you less because not being taxed on all your miles ( hell thats what per diem is) it confused the hell out of me why I was getting .06 less a mile and there were only to pay scales. Besides that I closed in at 2900 miles for the week which is fine by me, kind of looking forward for a 34hr reset so i can hit the raod hard this week but who knows ?wulfman75 Thanks this. -
#### Auto trans truck proves honest to what other truckers say about it. I hae been having issues with it downshifting and getting stuck in gear well yesterday on I70 in st louis MO i turned off onto my exit and #### truck died out on me. #### tranny is shot to hell and its in the Frieghtliner shop. the plus side of being a company driver is they take care of everything. So im a a great hotel by the airport that serves 3 meals a day and a sports bar next door. kind of irronic being my birthday and all hell i actually get to see the UFC fight tonight. hopefully im out of here by monday before the snow gets here .
