Jon & Kate...are we surprised??

I've watched the show since it's inception and yeah I was surprised. Maybe becaue Jon isn't my physical type, I'm surprised anybody wants him. Kate is obviously OCD and often snippy. But let's face it what kind of single woman goes after a man with a wife and 8 kids. Even if he does leave Kate, he'll have to get 3 jobs just to cover alimony and child support.

As for rumors of Kate having an affair with her bodyguard. That is so typical of 'celebrities' to fall for the big, strong man who they pay to protect them. Roseanne, Britney, Cher and many others have all fallen prey to that old chestnut. I guess I'm shocked because I can't believe anybody else wants them.

whew. I was sitting here wondering what gonna happen. NOT!

I saw totol of 5 min of that stupid show, and that was enough.
Called Dish, told them to take that channel off my subscription.

 

It seems the rumors are true and Jon & Kate Gosselin of Jon & Kate + 8, really do have an 'open' marriage. What I don't understand is how they thought they could keep that a secret while being filmed 10 hours a day or whatever it is? I know, I know, it was all done in the name of greed so they could make a fast buck off their progeny. Since I've never been motivated by greed it's difficult for me to comprehend.

I don't believe in open marriages; but to have one when there are young children is just ridiculous to me. IMO-Children always know when something is wrong; and you just end up raising a bunch of cynical people who can't commit and have no clue how to properly express love and affection.

 

UM....were they not presented as "religious" by the show????/

Can't wait for more reality shows to be exposed.....

Yes, they were, they have been filmed at church and Sunday School. Her dad is apparenly a pastor and she had a tiff with him and left his church, prior to the show starting.

I love how some people treat the Ten Commandments as random suggestions or a Chinese food menu where you can choose one from each column.

 

Well when you a have a judge get lambasted for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom.....no wonder....

As hokey as the Duggers are (my wife loves them) and quirky as the Rolovs (Little People, Big World)...they seem normal....
