I've been leased to Jones Motor since Nov 2007. I'm happy with them. What info are you looking for?

    I'm leased to Admiral Merchants.
My local agent at home represents Jones, Greentree and Admiral Merchants.
He says that Jones is by far the best and has all of his own trucks leased on with them.
He mentioned that if you break down they are more likely to help you out than the others
and they will also finance equipment for you. He has an RGN that they financed for him.
I've considered moving over there myself.

I was leased on to them in '07-'08. They treated me well.

I know that Jones does lease trailers and I have heard that they have helped guys out when their truck broke down, although that is second hand knowledge. How long have you been with Admiral Merchants? Are they a decent co to work for? I haven't heard much about them.

They are nice enough people to work with but really just supply the infrastructure for you to operate.
It seems that the majority of their "agents" are also agents for other companies and we are not their primary concern.
You get the feeling that they only post loads on our board when they can't cover them with their primary carriers.
Also, there is an awful lot of "broker freight" posted on our boards. If the coordinators will let you book your own outside loads they
let you keep 83% of the gross but you have to call to get permission before you do so and let them verify that none of their agents
have freight in the area and if it's a good load it may be gone by the time you call the broker back.
I got away from the agent system for about 5 years while pulling end dumps and tankers
so maybe the agent for multiple company thing is the norm now but I don't really care for it.

He has a thread about how he was done wrong, he seemed like a crybaby in that thread. Dont think he got the point that you find your loads, nobody holds your hand. Im going too go to Jones this summer. Ive talked to a few agents and owner ops and Im a motivated guy, so I know I will do well.

Jones motor it self is not that bad but Jones express sucks nothing but lies. Run your rear ends off killing yourselves get 35% for fuel hardly take any money for yourselves and still told you are In the hole so you owe them money lose your home because u can't pay the rent so now u are forced to live in your truck then find out you are being paid millage and it was supposed to be percentage when you point it out they tell you that they will go back through all loads and redo them and figure them out at percentage and they don't so you never dig out of
the hole they put you in. So I found another agent with Jones and all most got out of the hole all buy $58.then my truck went down again this was the third time for the same thing get it fixed 2 weeks later get back out there to start making money now I am $3000 in the hole start using my girl again start seeing the amount I was in the hole go down and then Bubba Williams pulls us from the area we were running said we had to take his load when I told him that my girl had already found us a load he tells me to tell her we can't take it even though she had it already booked and he made us take his load and told us that we could not use her again that we could only load through him. From that point on we stopped digging out of the hole and started getting more and more in the hole because the cheap freighy he made us take and if we turned down a load he would make us sit for a week with no load and the whole time telling you that he is working on a load so that it stop u from looking for a load and if you do look and call him to tell him about it he males up the excuse that the load is to cheap then turns around after ypi lost that load tells you he found one that is a great paying load just to find out that after you get your fuel advance that u actually paid them to haul the load because the load only paid the amount you get for a field advance sometimes less than the fuel advance so you owe them for the load
Found out the load paid $125 because it was a short run and then he turns around and gives me $250 for fuel how is that load better than a $3.98@ mile load can someone explain this to me
