Have a friend that's been there a while probably 8 years or so.Jones seems to be a good place if you have experience finding your own loads. It seems to be like all other agent based companies you have to develop relationships with those agents. Some are successful while others aren't.think it really boils down to your personality and your ability to sell yourself and how motivated you are.I have worked for agent based companies it's not easy just because a company runs on load boards and you have the ability to choose loads doesn't mean the loads on there are unlimited there might be only one load within 250 miles of where your at and it might be going the opposite way you want to go.

I have experience with it. I was recently with landstar. So I'm just looking for the same environment.

I'd recommend checking out Mercer. I drove a truck for the owner and we were leased with them. I'm no longer there do to issues with the truck owner, but if/when I get my own truck I would definitely go back there.

I tried them but they denied me due to an accident. Which is crazy because they say no more than 2 in 3yrs and I only had 1 in my entire 10yr career. But since it was so recent I guess they didn't want to touch as well a lot of other companies.

I've been gone from Jones for a bit. But I would say I had no negative experiences with them. Just like LS your success will be on your shoulders. Since the TII acquisition, I've heard the freight selection has improved even more. But they are your typical agent based company. I had a handful of agents that I ran with and mostly stayed in the SE. Or would venture off to the NE from time to time. Good luck
