Nope, our school has 1 old Ford 9 speed and the rest were 10's and our test trucks were Freightliners. Hard to tell what the school has as the pictures showed some KW's, some Freightliners, and one International (I think).

The 13 speed isn't too hard to figure out. Most people I have talked to who went to boot camp never having driven one didn't have too much of a problem.
Most of Con-way's trucks are 10 speeds now but most of the red CFI trucks and a few old the oldest Con-way trucks still have 13's in them. -
I liked the 10's, shouldn't have too much trouble picking up a 13, trainers at my school said I was a quick learner. LoL (I'd never driven a manual before February)
-
I was the same way, arrived at school never having shifting anything in my life. I picked up driving forward pretty fast, backing...well I struggle a lot with backing still.
-
I can straight back pretty good, it's that 45 that will get me. -_-
-
Just get out and look Wulf. I have days I can hit a blindside alley dock without a pullup, then I have days I can't straightline worth a flip. BTW I love my 13 speed and it's the first I had driven when I came to Conway, it takes a little adjustment but nothing major.

I prefer the 13 speed
