My fleet manager in passing mentioned that most of his drivers are from Florida. Makes it hard for getting home sometimes.

 

Are Janice and Jared still at Crowder? Janice was the best instructor ever.. and Jared ran the school. I've been meaning to stop in and say hi.. been a few years since i've been there. Conway TL and Crowder are my Alma Mattar.

getting home is pretty easy...coming out might take a couple of stops to get to the freight lane (I 10). I never have been on the board in Florida longer than 4 or 5 hours. However, in my last 5 or 6 home trips, I have picked up in dade or broward, and gone right to the border. This particular trip, I picked up yesterday in Miami and will be in laredo tomorrow.

I think the sales department is working pretty hard down there because I have seen a big difference in the last 6 months.

 

You'll have your offer on Monday as well as a another stay in the holiday inn.on Tuesday you will have a few classes....don't get discouraged if you stay at the holiday inn a couple days....sometimes it takes a lil while to get your finisher....maybe you'll get lucky and get Ray Hux he was mine and he was awesome!!!!

 

Bill Clanton is a good trainer too... 20+ years experience and as far as I know he is still a trainer. we had a great time and still talk to this day. There is also a female trainer too that I heard is good.. Bill and I went to breakfast with her one day at Danny's in Laredo but I can't think of her name for the life of me.
