    I’d imagine that would take much of the fun out of doing that while bobtailing into the truckstop at 0300. :rolleyes:

    That's exactly where I would have taken it.
    I couldn't be an instructor... no way.

    I just know how to drive.
    They apply way too much wording to a simple action that makes it complex.

    What I usually do, start downshifting at a mile away and impede traffic then upshift because I am not there yet... then downshift again.
