Hell I’d almost say it’s impossible to totally replace the driver for certain things such as load securement; how the hell are you gonna build a robot that can throw straps and use a winch bar lmfao

I agree. I'm a huge fan of a good walk or hike. Running, jumping rope, etc as I get older sound less and less fun. Damage to knees, ankles, legs in general, hips, shins...nah. I'll walk or find another way myself. If it works for someone though, more power to them. I know to many "healthy" people with bad knees, legs, hips, etc from years of sports, running, etc.
Plenty of ways to exercise without a gym. Hell some can even be better for some folks. I'd rather enjoy my workout and exercise vs having a bunch of weirdos watching me, or offering their unsolicited advice. I wanted that I'd just come on the internet. Ha!
If a gym works for someone, I'm all for it. I'm fan a of the YMMV way of thinking.
Walking/Hiking/Jogging and many other things are free and can be done everywhere. I recall reading about a guy who ran a marathon on his balcony when everything was shutdown back in March and April.
A bike can easily be brought along. They even make fold-able ones. Scooter, Skate board, Skim-board if your a water fan and near it.
Jump Rope, the resistance bands you yourself mentioned, the list goes on and on.
Who needs a gym? Pfft. Other than to be around a bunch of smelly, grunting, people you probably wouldn't normally hang out with anyways. Sounds like a truck stop to me. Just healthy people grunting and stinking.
(All you's are general)
End of the day, I don't care how someone exercises or what exercises they do.I'm just happy their exercising. Do what works best for you, kind of like diets.
Sirscrapntruckalot - I do 24 reps a day, but not of Heineken
AModelCat Thanks this. -

Commonsense must be used when drink exercising. I figured that was a given.
This day and age I should probably add a disclaimer.

Sirscrapntruckalot - Be smart on the road, save the drinking exercises for at home or if your holed up in a hotel for your reset. -
If my knees could handle jumping rope... Well I probably wouldnt be driving truck. So no thanks on the jump rope.

But thank you 30 lbs clutch??
How many times would you have gone through rush hour in a city. In your trucking career??
3,5,6,N.....3,5,6,N..........on n on on n on
Any normal person would loose their knees after a few years.
Sitting down for looooong ### times doesn't help your knees either.

Bros on a serious note.
I do need help with one thing without making another thread.
How can I quit a job where I've only been working a month. Found out they treat their drivers like ####.
The company itself says if no show no call 2 days. Means you quit. They are notorious for high turn over rate. And someguys say when you quit they leave bad comments when next employer tries to verify employment.
