Are you saying .11 more per mile for new highers?

.11 mile raise for new drivers would be a great way to get 200% turnover rate. The .11 I was talking about was a raise for drivers per diem rates to lower taxable income. A few companies allow drivers to chose which way they want paid still. Most pay a flat rate now from what I have found.

The comments were about raises and you said .11 for 1 year drivers. I asked if it was "more" in pay not a .11 total in pay. I don't see where the 200 percent came from.

It was a 1 cent per mile raise across the board for all drivers just to update this thread. To put in perspective if you run 2000 miles it equates to 20.00

Anyone on here have an update on Millis' placing inward facing cameras? I'm interested in applying with them but I'm not interestded in survillance. Geez, what a society. The lure of driving a truck has never been to become rich (at least to those with their feet on the ground). That isn't going to happen. The attraction has been to live and work within the frame of a somewhat independent lifestyle. This is really disturbing.

I drove OTR more than 30 years ago. I quit then for better job security and pay after having a family. I retire this year and have often thought about going back to it. I decided to go for it but things like this..., I don't know anymore. I'd rather buy 10-20 acres in the country and vegetate in private.

At this point no know can give you an honest yes or no answer on the camera's. It's all rumor, millis has some in their trucks testing them out. There is a lot of rumors going around about Millis, cameras, force fuel, etc some may happen some may not.

    PENWORTH Thanks this.
