No defense attorney would let you on the jury. They don’t want people on the jury who can use logic and understand crime scene evidence.
They want people who use emotion .

 

I agree in spirit but if criminals were punished the way they should be, we wouldn't need so many jurors.

 

Keep it simple and truthful. Tell them you are mad as hell to lose a months income and will be more than happy to do whatever it takes to fry the sob that caused you to be there.

I didn't read the whole thread but I can't believe two letters got rejected. You're self employed, your presence is essential to your business

That got me out of it twice, the third time I couldn't honestly claim to be self employed so I went. Sat in a gym for three days and didn't get picked. I was #30 in a 30 juror pool for one of the three trials
