Thanks so much for all your advice. I only took 1mg a day. But I talk to my recruiter and she said just bring the bottle. And I do take the diphenhydramine to help now, but figure I wont need it much when I start driving. Im sure that will tucker me out enough... lol
Believe me, if you put 11 hrs in the driving seat, you'll have no problems sleeping. Heck, I drink 3 pots of coffee a day (farm kid and ex-military) and slept like a dead man on the truck.
Naw.... you're an amatuer coffee drinker. Don't feel bad, I make Gibbs from NCIS look like an amatuer on coffee too....
Actually that cb can save you at times--Just the other nite i drove into that horrid storm in alabama--got stuck on 2 lane highway for 2 hours and some driver behind me guided me to the dc i was going to drop at--he took me almost the whole way--saved me for sure-- that storm wore me out trying to avoid all the trees in the road. LOL
The testers wont ask about it, they arent allowed to due to HIPAA most of the time. If there are any problems with the drug test you will be contacted, but Xanax is usually cleared from your system in hours, not days.
If you have been taking something a short time prior to being tested, it is always better to disclose that information prior to taking the drug test. It just covers you and if something does turn up in the test, you have disclosed it so they cannot come back on you later because you failed the test. The lab wants to know that you are not attempting to hide any drug use. Some years ago even poppy seeds on a bagel could cause you to test positive. I think they have adjusted for that now, but at one time people who ate them prior to taking a drug test could fail. Once you have a failed drug test, you could lose your job and might find it difficult to get another driving job. If I had been on any prescription I would at least mention it to the facility where the test was conducted.
Well I have advised and asked the recruiter and I asked the lady in millington what I needed to do. I have all my dr notes, and prescriptions with me when I come. I dont want to mess up, so thats why I'm making sure before I get there that all my I's are dotted and T's crossed. Dont want to get sent home on day one and no surprises. This is important to me and I'm taking all precautions. But thank you all for your advice. I really appreciate it alot. Lilbit
