The worst of everything is becoming more normal. This economy and society will further collapse when the young people that are in school become the work force of the economy. They see life as some inconvenient process that too often interrupts their social media existence.

It's funny how they determine the speed to slow down to in a construction zone. I've seen it at 65, I've seen it at 45, like will it hurt a worker less at 45 mph than getting hit at 65? And what's even weirder is when you do get into a 60 or 65 construction zone there's somebody holding you back doing 45-50. Just do the posted limit.

Y’all be hating me in construction zones .Especially the 45 MPH ones, where I’m going 47-48.
We have a CDL to protect, and I’m not going to be “That 1” pulled over.
Can I get a “Whoa Bundy”?

Truth told it seems as if speed limits are not adhered to or enforced like they used to be.
I can run 4 to 500 miles and never see a highway patrol each day.
15 to 20 over the limit seems pretty normal out here with many going faster .

That combined with the multitasking morons makes the construction zone a prime area for disaster, especially on the extended 2 lane one side crossovers for extended miles.
As someone whose job depends on following speed guidelines I rarely exceed the construction limits by more than a few mph.

    I'm a 5 over guy...
Haven't been pulled over in a semi since 87.

How about when they are really done with the construction but leave a few orange barrels and keep the work zone spreed limits. Only reason I can think of is revenuing.

Don't forget the opposite side slow lane being under construction, yet somehow it affects your side of the highway. Or the planning to begin construction, but signs and cones are there mo ths ahead of the work. I truly believe that the 2 components of speeding in workzone come down to (1) nobody trusting the signage, and (2) selfish mentality.

The one's they leave behind are Schneider eggs they haven't hatched yet. They'll be back to pickup the pieces afterwards.

How is it with all this construction we still can't get a smooth bridge joint? Engineers stumped on that? I cringe coming up to every bridge I go over hoping for the best, usually getting the worst.

The way the bridges are made, they move, literally on pillow blocks and while they try to make it even, most won’t be,
