I just read this, if this is already known by any of the know it all's, sorry for repost, just throwing this out there for anyone who cares. Interstates L/P requires you to be a company driver for 90 days if you don't have o/o experience, along with requiring you to attend Interstate’s Owner Transition University. That actually kinda makes sense, you guys are always saying there are dummies entering choice all the time. But it sure would suck being a Interstate company driver for 3 months. This will probably make a lot of people choose choice over interstate. I'm not in the market to do this until next year when things get better, but I would go with Interstate because, even though I live in south Florida, I prefer to run western 11. I would just fly home from Vegas (cheap flights) or something if Florida freight was difficult to find.

Just a little FYI

Sni only requires co driver I believe to be 6mos before going to choice...if recommend running your co truck as if it's yours and keep tally of what the cost are at least as much as possible so you can get an idea of what it'll take to run, your business...it won't be completely right on but you'll get a rough idea so you can plan out your business plan too.

It's Schneider's L/P program that most of the guys in these threads are driving in. BTW thanks for the props in the other thread bro!Jonkie Thanks this.

I think supposedly Interstate is better than Schneider out west from what i hear.
When i called the recruiters there they told me most of their freight is out west too. -
"Interstate’s Owner Transition University"
LMAOJonkie, oicu812 and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
Reminds me of Schneider's Training "Engineers". What a laugh.

1.01 per mile . Yikes . And ' we don't make money off trucks bet here's our list of approved vendors '. I always imagine the office personnel at trucking companies laughing all day long about how stupid truck drivers are
