my DMV has an area specifically for CDL drivers, hardly any long lines or waiting times.

The regulations don't really apply to me. I keep my stuff in tip top shape and pass inspections all the time. It's the POS next to me that I worry about.

Sounds like the OP either works for a poor company or just got a ticket for poor equipment.

Ours is maybe 5 people waiting on busy days. Takes 15 minutes to go through everything on the grandfathered renewals.

Now that I just have regular car license, I dont need to go there to do it, I do it online from home.

As far as the shopping carts in the store, the quality of them have been declining so the whole pushing them around with a motor has not been going well. I generally park way out of the way where there are not any cart collecting points or people willing to park that far away and walk in.

Trucking has done for me everything I could think of over the years. I consider myself a very lucky person to have gotten this far and not worry about it too much anymore in the face of ever increasing regulations.

regular car driver licenses here, can be done online too and at a AAA office, if one is a member.

i have a new car, a leased one at that, i too park far, far away from the stores entrances. not too many people park near me and no shopping cart races when the high winds blow..!!!

Cool opinion. I've been doing it for three years now and greatly enjoy what I do.

    Maybe it's not for you?

Owner operator,,, The driving portion of my occupation is the easy part.
Office paperwork can be frustrating at times, but manageable.
Not sure I could match the same level of income in another occupation with just a Diploma from the School of Hard Knocks.

Which Walmart do you work at?

That is where the trucks park. Now you run the risk of your car getting hit by a truck and the truck just drive off.

not really, trucks are not allowed at both walmarts i shop at. (they park at or near the mickey d's at one walmart, or the DD at another. i park at a lined for parking, traffic island, and there is a shopping cart area before i get to my car, so i am far enough from the dummies (of all types)

Is it actually possible to get far enough from the dummies?
