I am puzzled with this, how do you guys come up with this number?

I remember my uncle's fleet, well near 200 trucks and he said it didn't cost him more than a few hundred to hire a driver, my cost is about $600-$900 (depending on what they are hired for) but hell if I can figure out where people get multiple thousand dollar figure.

Hubby and I trained together at covenant We both trained in the same truck. We got different educations because the conditions while we were driving were different, and because our trainer was awesome. We chose the longer training period covenant offered over the shorter period that Schneider offers because we wanted to learn well. The best teacher has been the experience after. No preventable so far, but we take it seriously, and the company has a safety culture. I appreciate the extra cash every month to pay back a student loan. I love my team and cant imagine getting more miles or a better team from any other company. This is the place to team with your spouse.
